Dane Cook’s half-brother has been indicted for larceny. The brother of the actor, Darryl McCauley, has been bought up on eight counts by a grand jury.

Darryl was trusted by Dane Cook, working as his personal business manager and was (over)paid a whopping $12,500 per month. Being greedy, he decided that forging cheques and helping himself to millions of his brother’s assets would be a nice way to top up his income.

From TMZ:

Darryl McCauley was charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. According to prosecutors, McCauley once forged a $3 million check written from Cook’s account to himself.

According to reports Darryl will probably do jail time for theses crimes.
