Daniel Radcliffe talks about what he wants to do with his life after “Harry Potter”
Daniel Radcliffe, or as most of his fans probably know him, Harry Potter, says that once he retires his wand, he’s excited to start a family of his own.
Radcliffe is currently filming the last two movies for the “Harry Potter” series (“The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2”) and he shared that he is very influenced by the children who are on the set.
“What’s been cool is that I’ve been here when a lot of people here have had kids while on the film, and I’ve seen the change it’s made in their life and how amazing it is,” Radcliffe shared with the Daily News.
Before Radcliffe starts having children of his own, he first wants to settle down, and portrayed Harry Potter has not hurt his dating life. Radcliffe reports dating woman older than him when he was younger.
The latest installment of the “Harry Potter” series is due out in winter of 2010.

5 Fun Facts from the ‘Harry Potter’ set

MoviePhone had the chance to chat with the young stars of Harry Potter and dug up 5 fun facts that fans may not have heard about yet! Check it out below!
1. Daniel Radcliffe got a kick out of Dumbledore’s “outing.”
“I thought it was hilarious,” Radcliffe told us about his reaction to Rowling’s late-2007 revelation that she “always saw Dumbledore as gay.” Radcliffe continued, “But what was even funnier about it was the reaction from people who were up in arms about it. I don’t think it really matters. He’s [Rowling's] character and she can do what she likes with him.” Michael Gambon, who plays the sage headmaster, was “camping it up around the set for a couple weeks” after the news broke, Radcliffe reports. We can only hope there’s footage available of that for the DVD.
2. It takes “about 10 takes” for the perfect kiss.
Or at least that’s how many takes Rupert Grint estimates were shot for the first of a few smooches between Ron and Lavender (Jessie Cave). “Quite embarrassing” is how the reserved Grint describes the scene’s filming. “We were both quite nervous and [director David Yates] was really good and only let it go on for about 10 takes.” Only? To make matters worse, Grint and Lavender were performing for a live audience. “I had a room full of people cheering,” Grint says. Well, he must be doing something right.
