Ricardo Chavira of ‘Housewives’ arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Ricardo Chavira, who plays Eva Longoria’s husband on ‘Desperate Housewives’, was arrested at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday for suspicion of DUI.

Chavira was pulled over by an officer when they saw him driving erratically. The officer says there was alcohol on the star’s breath and administered the field sobriety test at the scene. Chavira was reportedly not able to pass the test.

Officers say he refused the breathalyzer and blood test, so he was taken to jail and booked on suspicion of DUI.

Sources say Chavira posted a $25,000 bail on Tuesday morning and was released.

Nicollette Sheridan Drops Abuse Charges from Her Current Lawsuit

Nicollette Sheridan sued “Desperate Housewives” creator, Marc Cherry for allegedly hitting her across the face while on the set of the hit show. She claims that she was fired by ABC after filing a complaint over the assault. She then filed a $20 million lawsuit against the “Desperate Housewives” producers originally alleging assault and battery, emotional distress, gender violence, and wrongful termination. However, she recently dropped the assault charges. In return, she has avoided avoiding undergoing physical and psychiatric evaluation, which were demanded by the defendants.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are Not Getting Divorced

TMZ reported on Tuesday that San Antonio Spurs player, Tony Parker filed for divorce from his Desperate Housewives wife, Eva Longoria. But alas, it was just a rumor! NO! TMZ is so credible! TMZ took the story down about an hour after posting it and replaced it with a statement from Longoria’s rep saying Parker has not filed divorce papers and that he does not have a divorce lawyer.

Desperate Housewives Defend Series Creator, Marc Cherry and Dis Nicollette Sheridan

The gals from Desperate Housewives, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross released a joint statement which defends Marc Cherry and as such, inadvertantly slams Nicollette Sheridan. In their statment to Entertainment Tonight, they write, “It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing.” They go on to state, “We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterize our set as a hostile environment. It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.”

Nicollette Sheridan Files Lawsuit Over Being Fired From Desperate Housewives

Nicollette Sheridan filed a lawsuit on Monday in Los Angeles Superior court, alleging that the show’s creator (Marc Cherry) hit her in the face and when she complained to the execs at ABC, she was fired. She is suing for $20 million for loss of future earnings. Her contract gave her earnings $175,000 an episode which could go up to $250,000 in later years.

In the suit papers, Sheridan alleges assault, battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She writes that Cherry created a hostile work environment by “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner.”

She claims that on September 24, 2008, Cherry struck her in the face and the head. Sheridan then yelled, “You just hit me in the head. That is not okay. THAT IS NOT OKAY!” Cherry allegedly tried to beg forgiveness but Sheridan went to the ABC executives to complain about his abusive behavior. Then, in February, 2009 she was informed that her character would be written off the show. She claims in her suit that, “The decision to kill off Sheridan’s character demonstrates that Cherry and ABC intended to and did retaliate against Sheridan for her complaints about Cherry.”

Nicollette Sheridan is Leaving Desperate Housewives at the End of the Season

Acording to representatives for Nicollette Sheridan, the star will leaving Desperate Housewives. Nicollette has been nominated for Golden Globe awards for her portrayal of real estate agent Edie Britt. Sheridan plans on leaving the show after the sixth season finale.

Sheridan’s departure does not come as a surprise, after rumored disagreements between the Nicollette and creator Marc Cherry.

Nicollette Sheridan is part of the original cast that debuted in 2004.
