After news of their confirmed separation, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johannson were spotted at a restaurant together New York’s Blue Ribbon sushi restaurant. A source told PEOPLE magazine, “They were smiling and laughing the whole time.” This has sparked rumors that the two may be reconciling. However, based on the following statement they released, it seems as though they are determined to remain friends: “After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement to Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

Jennifer Carpenter Files for Divorce

TMZ just reported that Dexter star, Jennifer Carpenter, recently filed for divorce from her co-star, Michael C. Hall. The two have actually been separated since August 9, 2010. The reason stated on the divorce petition is “irreconcilable differences” and Carpenter is asking for spousal support as well as attorney’s fees.

US has reported that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are calling it quits after two years of marriage. A source said, “They are being very civil about it. The big problem with their relationship is the distance. They spent a lot of time apart when they are working. … She’s been unhappy for a while.” Apparently, the two separated about two weeks ago. The pair started dating in 2007 and married a year later.

Elizabeth Hurley & Arun Nayar Separate

Elizabeth Hurley has confirmed that she and Arun Nayar have in fact separated. The 45 year old actress tweeted, “For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are Not Getting Divorced

TMZ reported on Tuesday that San Antonio Spurs player, Tony Parker filed for divorce from his Desperate Housewives wife, Eva Longoria. But alas, it was just a rumor! NO! TMZ is so credible! TMZ took the story down about an hour after posting it and replaced it with a statement from Longoria’s rep saying Parker has not filed divorce papers and that he does not have a divorce lawyer.

Christina Aguilera and Matthew D. Rutler were spotted together on several occasions and rumors are flying that their “friendship” may be turning into something romantic. Reports are saying that the two were recently out on a double date with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Rutler is a movie set assistant who worked on movie, “Burlesque,” which debuts Ms. Aguilera. He’s also the guitarist for the Nate Mott Band.

Miley Cyrus’s mother, Tish, is being accused of having a fling with Singer, Brett Michaels. US Weekly reported that Michaels, 47, “became close to the entire family” ever since Michaels and Miley Cyrus performed the duet “Nothing to Lose.” A rep for Michaels as well as a rep for Tish Cyrus deny the allegations.

Miley Cyrus’ parents, Billy Ray and Tish, have decided to call it quits. The pair, who have been married for 17 years and have 5 children together, released the following statement: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” they said in a statement. “We are trying to work through some personal matters. Anyone surprised that Heidi and Spencer are back together? I would say, give it a couple weeks - after the media attention wears off - and the two will come up with some other stunt to stay in the lime light.
