Search for Jessica Simpson’s Dog - Called Off

A group of experts aiding Jessica Simpson in the quest for her lost dog is officially calling off their search.

Sources close to the situation say Simpson and the FindToto.com people have exhausted every possible resource to find Jessica’s precious Daisy — last spotted in the grasp of a wild coyote.

The Simpson’s camp used tracking dogs, scoured neighborhoods, put up posters, power-dialed neighbors and did everything else they could to find a clue … but came up short. They even told a pet psychic offered to help, but we’re not sure if Jessica actually accepted the supernatural offer.

Jessica still has hope … but that hope seems to be fading pretty quickly.

UPDATE: I’ll tell you what no one else can seem to do. You’re dog is DEAD. It was taken by a coyote! What do you think is going to happen; do you think they’re out in the desert playing together?

Fools still Hunting for Simpson’s Dog

What are the chances that a coyote would take a dog home with it, play with it and then realise it’s Jessica Simpson’s pet and return it?

Pretty slim, say dog experts. It’s more likely Simpson’s Malti-Poo has gone to doggy haven. But don’t tell Simpson that because she still has hopes that Daisy, her dog from ex-hubby Nick Lachey, will turn up barking and alive.

Earlier this week, the country singer Twittered to say “My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”.

Just yesterday, Simpson Twittered again saying “Still holding out hope despite what some say is a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby … why would I stop searching? I’m a mum.”

Unfortunately for Simpson, celebrity dog trainer Jennifer McCarthy says that “if you see a coyote take a dog, one that is this small, chances of it surviving are very slim. Daisy’s probably not alive anymore.”

Despite what many are saying is a lost cause, trained pet detectives from FindToto.com are offering Simpson their services for free. They are telling Simpson’s neighbours to look in and around their property. “Check your backyard and under your deck. There is a chance the coyote would have abandoned Daisy and she’s lying injured somewhere.”

A spokesperson for FindToto.com told USMagazine.com, “We’re kind of an amber alert for missing pets. We took the addresses of those living near the area where Daisy went missing and we used that as a bulls-eye. We called over 1,000 people and sent out a 30-second message with Daisy’s details together with a number for Jessica’s assistant so that anyone can give us information.”

Jessica Simpson in her Daisy Dukes

Jessica Simpson broadcast her latest heartache on Twitter late Monday, writing that her beloved dog, Daisy, was snatched away by a coyote and is missing.

“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!” she tweeted.

Simpson named Daisy after Daisy Duke, the tough-talking waitress Simpson played in “The Dukes of Hazzard” movie. The pooch was a gift from her ex-husband, Nick Lachey.

Ironically, someone posted this comment to Jessica just after she ‘tweeted.’

Sad. Poor dog. But, Jessica, do you understand a coyote took the dog? I doubt anyone is going to find him. As another site said, coyotes don’t read & can not get in touch with you about returning the dog & getting the reward.
