Homer Simpson Honored as Greatest TV Character

Yes, folks, Homer Simpson was in fact named the greatest TV or film character in the past 20 years by Entertainment Weekly. “The Simpsons,” broadcast in more than 90 countries, is the longest-running U.S. TV series in prime time, now in its 21st season.
Harry Potter came in second, The star of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, came third. Others on the top 100 list include Tony Soprano “The Sopranos” The Joker played by late Australian actor Heath Ledger in “The Dark Knight.”

Adam Lambert, who is one of the favourites to win American Idol and can be seen above, covers the May 15 2009 issue of Entertainment Weekly.
“With his mop of glam-rock cobalt-blue-on-dyed-black hair, his hearing, his sneering, and his unambiguously ambiguous sexuality, Adam would have probably been brushed off early on. And there was also a time, more recently, when Adam would have made it to Hollywood but been dismissed as ‘too Broadway’ or ‘too musical theater.’”
