Bristol Palin Speaks Out Against Margaret Cho, Makes Gay Joke at Cho’s Expense

December 5, 2010 by David · Leave a Comment

Bristol Palin is following in little sis’s footsteps in what appears to be a commonality in the Palin household….This week comedian and former DWTS contestant, Margaret Cho, wrote a blog in which she suggests that Sarah Palin forced Bristol to do “DWTS.” She also says that momma Palin “harshly and openly” blames Bristol for costing her the election. Bristol responded to said blog denying Cho’s allegations but lost all tact in the end of her response by writing that if Margaret understood conservative politics better, she “would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.” The remark is being considered a gay joke since KD Lang is gay, the Indigo Girls are considered connected to the lesbian culture……and the fact that Margaret Cho is herself gay.

October 14, 2010 by David · Leave a Comment

Gavin Rossdale would neither confirm or deny initial claims that he had a fling with a with a cross-dressing pop singer named Marilyn….An allegation first made in 1995 by Boy George and then again a year ago by Marilyn. That all changed when Rossdale opened up about the subject in Details magazine. He said, “I think at the outset there was a sort of fear … I’ve never wanted to appear closed about it. It’s not something I’ve talked about really because it’s always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It’s just one of those things: Move on. When you’re 17, Jesus Christ. I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of — you’re learning about life. It’s a part of growing up. That’s it. No more, no less.”

Tim Gunn collaborated with the Trevor Project, an organization focused on suicide prevention among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth, by creating a video where he admits to a past suicide attempt. Gunn said in the video, “As a 17-year-old youth who was in quite a bit of despair, I attempted to kill myself and I’m very happy today that that attempt was unsuccessful but at the time it’s all that I could contemplate.” Gunn goes on to say, “I woke up the morning after taking over a hundred pills and I was in a whole other level of despair. I thought, ‘I shouldn’t be here. This isn’t what was meant to be.’ I frankly just wanted to start life all over again.”

Adam Lambert to visit ‘The View’

After taking heat from Adam Lambert’s fans and gay advocates for a week, ABC on Friday extended an olive branch of sorts to the “American Idol” runner-up who made headlines with his provocative performance last month at the American Music Awards in which he kissed a male musician.

ABC canceled Lambert’s scheduled appearances on “Good Morning America” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and stopped considering him for “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” which drew thousands of complaints from viewers and gay advocates who believed the network was retaliating against him because he is gay.

On Friday night, Lambert took to Twitter, where he first announced the cancellations, to tell his fans that he will appear on “The View” next Thursday.

Without offering an explanation and declining to comment, ABC confirmed the appearance.

Lambert will be interviewed by “The View” hosts and will perform. Both will be pre-taped because Lambert has a scheduling conflict and cannot be in New York on Thursday, sources said.

Lambert will appear on “The View” the morning after his interview with Barbara Walters for her “10 Most Fascinating People” special on ABC. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, which earlier accused ABC of subjecting Lambert to a double standard, applauded ABC’s invitation.

Meredith Baxter is Gay

December 3, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Meredith Baxter has always been known for playing quintessential TV mom on Family Ties. But recent events (The National Enquirer recently printed pictures of her and her partner on a lesbian cruise) have forced the 62-year-old actress to make a life-altering decision and tell the world that she is in fact a lesbian mom.

During an interview with Matt Lauer on the Wednesday episode of the Today show, Meredith Baxter publicly came out of the closet, leaving some fans shocked considering Baxter, formerly Meredith Baxter Birney, has five children ranging from 20s to 40s, and has been married three times.

Lambert Gets Simulate BJ on Stage at AMA

Adam Lambert admits he got carried away with his American Music Awards performance on Sunday. But he’s not apologizing.

The glam rocker from “American Idol” kissed a male keyboard player and had a dancer simulate oral sex on him while performing “For Your Entertainment” on the awards show. He said on CBS’ “The Early Show” on Wednesday that he got carried away, “but I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Lambert noted that his performance came at nearly 11 p.m. and if parents were worried about what their children were watching, they should monitor it themselves.

Offered a chance to apologize, he declined. And the openly gay singer says he believes there wouldn’t be nearly as much of an outrage if he were straight.

“American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert already cleared up speculation about his sexuality, telling Rolling Stone in June that he is gay, but adding that he does “make out with girls from time to time.” Still, despite that, some might be surprised by his recent photo spread in Details magazine.

In one photo, Lambert is tongue-to-tongue with a woman, and in another, Lambert (clothed) is with the same woman, who’s wearing nothing but Lambert’s hands, which are strategically placed.
