It looks like the newest Hollywood couple is Gerard Butler, 41, and Ashley Greene, 24. Sources say the couple were seen at an after party together and only had eyes for each other.

A source said, “He had a hand on her shoulder and leaned in to her. He really turned on the charm.” Sources say he had his hand on Greene’s behind and had her laughing as he performed his rendition of Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing.’

Greene and long time boyfriend, Joe Jonas split in March.

Gerard Butler says Jennifer Anniston’s has Hot Legs

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are still creating a buzz about whether they are creating steamy off screen romance. Both Aniston and Butler, 41, have very nice things to say about each other during interviews for their newest movie, “The Bounty Hunter.” At the premier of their movie, Butler said, “She’s vivacious, I mean, she’s just so alive inside, and that really shows though.” What else? Well, “Jen actually does have the best legs in Hollywood,” he said.

This Sunday Gerard Butler will present at the Golden Globe Awards.

He recently interviewed in Cosmopolitan Magazine (via Just Jared) about the kinds of dates he likes to go on, saying, “Sometimes I will tell a girl to meet me on a bridge so we can just walk. I think you learn more about a person when you’re not just sitting at dinner repeating information about yourself.”

Ironically, the woman interviewing him was asked to meet him at a bridge, she declined and settled for an underpass.

Did Gerard Butler and Jessica Simpson Shag?

The pair were spotted having dinner and acting flirtatious Tuesday night at Soho House in New York City Tuesday, where they sat with friends who included Simpson pal, the hairstylist Ken Paves, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

But a source close to Butler, 39, says the hullabaloo is probably over nothing.

“I’m never surprised to hear that Gerard is with someone new. None of those relationships last,” the source says. “Certainly he’s not planning on settling down with Jessica Simpson … Gerard plays the field … and Jessica is lonely … and she lost weight and is looking good.”

“Every time you hear about him out with someone, he’s flirting and ‘cozy’ with them and making googly eyes at them,” the source said. “Maybe that’s just what he does with everyone. Maybe that’s just how he is.”

Gerard Butler Charged with a Crime

Gerard Butler, star of the movie 300 and the upcoming flick entitled Gamer, has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery.

Butler has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery in connection with a run-in with a photog on October 7, 2008. At 2 AM, after a premiere party for “RockNRolla,” Butler left Crown Bar in a limo and allegedly popped a papper in the lips three or four times. The L.A. City Attorney filed the charge yesterday.

If convicted, Butler could face up to 6 months in jail.

Butler is due in court for an arraignment on June 10.
