Katherine Heigl Not Returning to Grey’s Anatomy

Katherine Heigl was supposed to return to the set of Grey’s Anatomy on March 1st, after three months of maternity leave. However, sources reveal she has not returned to the set and is pushing to be released from her contact in order to pursue a career in movies.

It is rumored that the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, agreed to release Heigl from her contract and now it is up to ABC and Heigl’s rep to work out the final details.

T.R. Knight Leaving Grey’s Anatomy: George O’Malley Character Killed Off

T.R. Knight’s character on Grey’s Anatomy, George O’Malley, is to be killed off. 

The 36-year-old actor had thrown diva fits in December saying that as his character does not get enough air time, he wants out. Well, he got his wish and now O’Malley is no more.

E! news reports that Dr. George O’Malley is officially dead. T.R. Knight won’t be returning to Grey’s next season, which isn’t much of a shock. Dr. George O’Malley flatlined during one of the final scenes of the season finale.

There’s no word on any upcoming projects for Knight, who began his career on Broadway.

The marketing department for the hit ABC Drama, Grey’s Anatomy, has set up a website for the upcoming wedding of Dr. Shepard (Patrick Dempsey) and Dr. Grey (Ellen Pompeo). The site, which is written from Izzy’s perspective, has the story of how the couple met, personal mesages from fans and friends, as well as pictures of the happy couple! Check it out!! Katherine Heigl Hates Working

Katherine Heigl told The New York Times that Heigl said she’s comfortable balancing movies and TV by working on movie projects during the summer break for ”Grey’s Anatomy.”

”I’m more than happy to make that compromise. As my agent likes to say, ‘High-class problems. I don’t know if I want to continue for five years working 12 months a year, but I can take at least another year or two.”

What a spoiled bitch, in an economy where 11% of Californians are out of work, Katherine is bitching about having to work for a whole 12 months. Oh noes! It is called a job! God these Hollywoodites get on my nerves.

T.R. Knight Car Crash Photos

T.R. Knight was involved in a serious car crash on Thursday which left him unhurt, but did leave a man and woman hurt and in need of hospital treatment - they were taken to nearby Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles.

From TMZ:

T.R. was going eastbound on Hollywood Blvd — the other car was going westbound when they collided. He was not injured, but a man and a woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Cops are still investigating who was at fault. No citations were given.
