Celine Dion has checked into the hospital as a “precaution,” one month prior to the anticipated due date of her twin boys. The statement released to the public says, “She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting. ” It goes on to say, “This is done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth.” Her representative went further, saying, Her doctors want Dion to remain in the hospital at least until the first week of November, when she would be 37 weeks along in her pregnancy.”
Rapper, T.I., Thwarts Suicide Attempt

A suicide attempt was thwarted thanks to the help of rapper, T.I. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a man threatened to jump off the roof of a 22 story building which was being broadcast on the radio and the rapper heard about it and offered his assistance. Office James Polite told the paper that T.I. “came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down.” T.I. apparently spoke to the man for a few minutes and was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. During her concert in Germany, Pink’s harness malfunctioned and threw her into a barrier. She was taken to the hospital via ambulance but reportedly is fine. She told fans via Twitter that she was fine, “Ok all my lovers out there — nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my b*tch!!!! Thanx nurnberg:(”
Dean McDermott Recoverying After Motorcycle Accident

star and husband of Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, is in the intensive care unit and being treated for a punctured and collapsed lung after a motorcycle accident. He is expected to make a full recovery and to be released from the hospital in a few days.
Baldwin Hospital Visit over Suicide?

Reports are coming out today that Alec Baldwin’s rush to the hospital was sparked by a threat of suicide by pills. Baldwins teenage daughter called 911 yesterday after fighting with her dad:
“I’m going to take some pills. I’m going to end this” — and then got furious when the panicked teen called 911, police and sources said.
He was watched and checked at the hospital after his arrival and it turns out that he hadn’t overdosed on pills, but had taken an Ambien so that he could get some sleep. Sources also say that he has been fighting with ex-wife Kim Bassinger.

Alec Baldwin ended up in a New York hospital after a caller believed to be his 14-year-old daughter, Ireland, summoned 911 to the 30 Rock Emmy winner’s West Side Manhattan apartment, WNBC News reported early Thursday morning.
The caller was concerned for Baldwin’s health because the actor, 51, was “unresponsive,” according to the Today in New York report. When police and medics arrived at Baldwin’s Central Park West apartment, he agreed to be taken to the hospital.
Baldwin was examined at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he remained for more than an hour before being released, said the TV report, which describes the status of his condition as unclear.
Reps for Baldwin and the hospital could not be reached for comment.

Famous Blues Singe Ettat James has been hospitalized for various illnesses, to include blood poisoning. She was already in a clinic to treat for addiction to pain killers and other medications.
“She’s been in a pretty big battle,” her son Donto James said. The singer has been in hospital for a week.
Michael C Hall Treated for Cancer

Actor Michael C. Hall, who plays a serial killer in the TV series “Dexter,” said on Wednesday that he has been battling cancer but the treatment is almost finished and the disease is in remission.
The 38-year-old actor said in a media statement that he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a treatable cancer of the lymphatic system. He did not say when the diagnosis was made.
“I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care,” Hall said.
Gary Coleman Penis to Star in New Film

Poor Gary Coleman. He tries to break up a locker room fight on camera, he gets his private parts captured on film for the world to see.
Coleman then flies to Los Angeles to prevent the footage from airing, and he ends up in the hospital after an apparent seizure.
Now comes even more headaches for the onetime “Diff’rent Strokes” megastar: Less than a day after getting out of the hospital, Coleman has learned that the footage of his penis will be going public whether he likes it or not.
The Coleman movie in question is called “Midgets vs. Mascots,” and it’s just that — a documentary about little people like Coleman taking on mascots in a “Jackass”-style competition for a million-dollar prize.
Gary times four In one sequence, Coleman apparently tries to break up a locker-room fight. His robe flies open, briefly revealing his Arnold Jackson in full. Coleman didn’t want the scene in the movie, and he flew to Los Angeles to meet with the film producers — an outfit called RCMVM — to get it, er, cut.

Artie Langee Tries to Kill Himself

Artie Lange, was found last Saturday in his kitchen by his mother with 9 stab wounds to his torso. He apparently tried to kill himself. She then called an ambulance and they took him to the hospital. Lange, is known for his stand up comedy and being the side kick on The Howard Stern Show. In the past, Lange has also wrestled with drug abuse.
“We all have our demons,” said Stern, referring to Lange’s past battles with addiction. “Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.”
