Hugh Jackman suffered an injury to his right eye as he attempted to make a “grand entrance” on The Oprah Winfrey Show. As Hugh Jackman dropped in on the audience via a zip-wire, he ended up flying right into a light fixture. It seems his ego was injured more than any body parts. However, he did return to the stage and said, “That was so much fun - until the end,” he said. “I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbour, saw my dad, the kids and you, went to pull the brake and then boing.”

Jodie Foster is being accused of physically assaulting a 17 year old paparazzo, claims the boy’s father. Radar Online reported that the incident took place on May 29th at a popular shopping center called, The Grove. The boys father claims that, “Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm.” Foster’s camp is denying these allegations and recently told Access that “The seventeen year old young man was a professional paparazzo. He had a large camera bag with a 1000 mm lens. He tailed Jodie and her children from the movie theatre to valet parking, crowding them and taking pictures the entire way. “Pulp Fiction” co-screenwriter Roger Avary has been removed from a prison work furlough program and locked up, authorities say.

Avary was sentenced in September to a year in jail and five years probation for causing a drunken driving car crash that killed a passenger and injured Avary’s wife. News reports say he has been serving his time in a work furlough program.

But on Friday Ventura County sheriff’s spokesman Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said the 44-year-old Avary had been locked up in the county jail.

The Los Angeles Times and the Ventura County Star reported that he was removed from the furlough program and jailed after allegedly Twittering about his experiences since being sentenced.

But Bonfiglio told The Associated Press that he was jailed over security issues and Twittering wasn’t a key factor. Avary attorney Mark Werskman denied Twittering caused his incarceration.

Avary and Quentin Tarantino share the 1995 Academy Award for writing “Pulp Fiction.”
