Wesley Snipes Headed to Jail?

Wesley Snipes was convicted of tax evasion in 2008 and was sentenced to jail time. The actor spent the last two years appealing his sentence. However, his latest appeal was rejected by a federal judge, who said Snipes “had a fair trial” and that “the time has come for the judgment to be enforced.” Snipes’ attorney said, “Wesley is very disappointed but staying strong and positive.”

Lindsay Lohan Skirts Jail Time

While the prosecutor pressed for another jail stint to address Lindsay Lohan’s latest probation violation, a Beverly Hills judge disagreed. Instead, he ordered her to remain in a residential rehab facility to continue drug and alcohol addiction treatment. She will remain at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage until Jan 3. She will also be subject to random drug testing after she leaves treatment until her Feb. 25 court date.

Dane Cook’s Half Brother Embezzed Millions From Him

Ain’t that a bitch! Dane Cook’s half brother, Darryl McCauley admitted to stealing millions from the comedian while working as his business manager. He was sentenced to five - six years in prison. Apparently he stole from cook’s business and personal accounts between 2004 and 2008 by transferring money to his own accounts. There are even reports that McCauley forged a $3 million check and deposited it into his account.

Rapper, T.I., Thwarts Suicide Attempt

A suicide attempt was thwarted thanks to the help of rapper, T.I. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a man threatened to jump off the roof of a 22 story building which was being broadcast on the radio and the rapper heard about it and offered his assistance. Office James Polite told the paper that T.I. “came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down.” T.I. apparently spoke to the man for a few minutes and was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Lindsay Lohan Goes Back to Rehab

After being released on bail late Friday night - less than one day after she was ordered back to jail - Lohan again checked into a substance abuse rehab program. The 24 year old actress apparently checked in on Monday, a source told People/com. Apparently the producers of the movie, “Inferno” are still willing to wait for Lindsay to star in their movie and have moved production to January. However, it is reported that Lohan’s latest film role, “Rom-Com One Night With You,” was recently given to singer/actress, Taylor Swift.

Lindsay Lohan Pimping Her Own Photos

Lindsay Lohan must need some fast cash. She was reported to be trying to sell a photo of herself wearing her SCRAM bracelet just a few days after her latest jail stint. UsMagazine insider said, “Lindsay Lohan was calling around the pap agencies all weekend trying to get $10,000 up front to pose up in the SCRAM bracelet. All of the major players passed, and she ended up doing the setup with a small agency.”

Michael Lohan Threatens Lilo’s Lawyer and Others

Michael Lohan seemingly “exploded” after daughter, Lindsay, was thrown back in jail after failing a drug test. He left a voice mail on attorney Shawn Chapman Holley’s which threatened to “blow you out of the water,” and two texts which allegedly told her she should do Lindsay a favor and quit and another one where daddy Lohan told her she was destroying the Lohan family. In an update to TMZ, Michael said, “It’s true. I said those things … but it’s spun. I wasn’t knocking Shawn for working all those hours … I was knocking the fact that I told them to do this [send Lindsay to rehab] a long time ago. Just now they’re listening.”

Lohan To Remain in ‘Detention’ for 29 Days

If Lindsay thinks she is going to only have to serve a few days behind bars, she is sadly mistaken. Apparently, she will have to spend the next 29 days in detention. A spokesman for the LA Sheriff’s department said, “Ms. Lohan cannot be released early because this isn’t a jail sentence. She’s being held by court order until her hearing on Oct. 22. She will be held in the same conditions as her last stay, in a keep-away unit.” He went on to say, “She’s now being processed through, she’s going to go through the same physical and mental evaluation.” She will still be segregated from the general prison population for what he calls “the safety and security of the entire jail system.” Well, guess there won’t be much to write about for the next 29 days….
