Jaycee Dugard and her family object to plan for film

A spokeswoman for Jaycee Dugard says only Dugard and her family should decide when and if a film is made about the 18 years she spent with the man charged with kidnapping her.
In a statement Tuesday, family spokeswoman Nancy Seltzer said a plan to make a movie about Dugard’s life was “exploitive, hurtful and breathtakingly unkind.”
The statement came after Shane Ryan, a director of low-budget horror movies, announced that he expected to start production next month on “Abducted Girl, An American Sex Slave.”

Released today, the children of Jaycee Dugard and convicted pedophile Phillip Garrido have been told that the woman they thought was their older sister is really their mother.
This is what Angel, 11, and Starlit, 15, have faced since the arrest last week of Phillip Garrido, charged with the 1991 abduction of Jaycee Dugard, now 29.
“They thought Jaycee was their sister,” Dugard’s stepfather, Carl Probyn, tells PEOPLE. “People have to realize this will take years of therapy.”
Odds are this will take a life time of therapy.

Jaycee Dugard - Enhanced for 20 years of age
New York Daily News has a compilation of photos about Jaycee Lee Dugard. This is the woman that was kidnapped at the age of 11 and held for 18 years before University Police figured out who she was.
Arrested in the case was Phillip Garrido, 58, and his wife. He is a convicted sex offender and a suspect in the disappearance of several prostitutes. Garrido also fathered 2 children from Jaycee; and apparently they are all brainwashed to worship him.
Garrido also claims to have the ability to speak and heal people by only using his mind and with a small box that he says god helped him make.
Bottom Line: He is one crazy fuck.
