Kanye West and Mary-Kate Olsen were seen together at Submercer Nightclub in NYC on Wednesday night. It was West’s 35th birthday party, sources say, and eyewitnesses say the two were kissing.

West and ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, last summer. He changed the lyrics of ‘Stronger’ to include, “I did anything for a blonde dyke, and she’ll do anything for the limelight,” which is reference to his relationship with Rose.

Mary-Kate and twin sister Ashley reportedly both have boyfriends. Ashley has been seen with singer/actor Justin Timberlake. An insider has said, “They are hooking up.” Ashley and Timberlake have been spotted at the Greenwich Hotel and a polo match as well as other locations.

Lada Gaga receives an award for fashion.

We all know that Lady Gaga has a flair for fashion. The Council of Fashion Designers of America Award that she won on Monday night makes it official. The ‘Born This Way’ singer won the 2011 Fashion Icon Award at the 10th annual even in New York City.

“Fashion made me feel like a star before I was,” she said during her acceptance speech.

Marc Jacobs was also honored at the event, receiving the Geoffery Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Row, which is a fashion line that was designed by actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, was nominated for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear. The Olsen twins were in attendance at the event, but the award was given to Prabal Gurung.

Some of the stars that attended the event were Kirsten Dunst, Miranda Kerr, Kanye West, Jessica Alba and others.

Kanye West Says He Has Contemplated Suicide In the Past

The 33 year old eccentric rapper recently opened up about his feelings of despair and even said he has contemplated suicide in the past. Who did he open up to about these feelings? Well, the audience who was at the screening of his new film, Runaway. He told them that while there were times in his life where he “contemplated suicide” he would “not give up on life again.” He feels like he is a “soldier for culture” and would be the voice for all those people that would never have their voices heard.

Kanye West’s Film, “Runaway” To Air on MTV and BET

Kanye West’s debut film, “Runaway,” will premiere on MTV and BET on October 23rd. The film is 40 minutes long and has been termed as “ambitious” and “great looking” by those who have viewed the film. Following the premiere, West will do a Q&A session from MTV’s Times Square location. Here is what Kanye said about the concept of the film, “It’s the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world,” he told New York magazine. “I’ve been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It’s been in my heart for a while. It’s maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person.”

Jay-Z and Eminem made their way to Yankee Stadium as one of their stops during their Home and Home tour. They put on an amazing performance which also included guests like Kanye West, Beyonce, Drake, Chris Martin and Nicki Minaj. MTV News reported that Jay Z payed tribute to the late George Steinbrenner, saying, “Before I start this piece, let me say, rest in peace to the boss, George [Steinbrenner].” At which time Hov began, freestyling a reference to the late Yankees owner after commencing his program with the “Dynasty Intro.” “By the time we sliding home/ I hope we playing in the dome,” he continued rapping.

Prince Given Lifetime Achievement Award By BET

On June 27th, BET will honor Prince by giving him with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Those already inducted include James Brown, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross and Al Green. Prince has 10 platinum albums along with 30 Top 40 Singles. Queen Latifah will host the show and Kanye West will be one of the many famous performers there to honor Prince.

Kanye reports that he is back to work in the studios making new music for his fans. On his site, he went on to thanks fans for their love and support for him over the last 6 years. He says the music and his work is like other modern-day poets and artists, it is “to accurately represent what is happening now, so when the powers that be try to rewrite history, you can always look at our works and find truth and sincerity.” Whatever! No one of any significance will ever refer to your work to find out what was gong on in the world. You’re just as self centered and a sell out as the people you complain about.
