Katy Perry poses nude for the magazine, Esquire UK, which is due out in August. She also opens up about herself and her future husband, Russell Brand. She told the magazine, “He used to basically be a professional prostitute — now he’s not. So he’s an extremist, which can be both good and bad. I always needed someone stronger than me. And I am, like, a f—ing strong elephant of a women. I say that, hopefully, in the humblest way I can.” She also opens up about their first encounter with each other and the speed of their romance, “I was 25, 30 feet away from him. And I threw the bottle straight at him: hit him smack dab on the head. Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had, when he was used to getting everything he wanted? I was like, ‘You’ve met your match, motherf—er.’ A week later we went on vacation in Thailand. Of their personalities, she says, “I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I am you. You are me.’ Two divas in one house. It’s like splitting the atom. It shouldn’t happen.”

Katy Perry was at a Toronto Club when she fell and cut her leg, which required 17 stitches. She was in Canada for the Much Music Video Awards. She is fine and in good spirits, tweeting, “17 stitches later… Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That’s what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada.” She also made reference to her candy themed set, tweeting “Thinking about getting a candy cane walker made for this performance coming up… I will be expecting YOU to dance for me, okay?! Oy vey…”

Katy Perry and Rihanna have been friends for a couple years now and have become pretty close. Well, I guess they are gonna get a bit closer and future hubby, Russel Brand, may have something to worry about. Katy Perry told Chicago’s KISS-FM radio show that she wants Rihanna to strip for her at her bachelorette party. Perry said, “You see people coming and they strip at your bachelor party, but I want her to strip at my bachelorette party.” Perry went on to say or Rihanna, “She’s hot, I love her. She’s just the coolest chick and I want all of her clothes.” Rihanna is the one organizing Perry’s bachelorette party so it definitely could happen.

Katy Perry was originally in the movie, Get Him to the Greek, starring her now fiance, Russel Brand. However, she was cut out in the end. Hmmmmm, not a good omen with the upcoming nuptials. Perry joked about it saying, “I was like, ‘I’m sleeping with you, and you’re not gonna put me in the movie? That’s so messed up!’ ” On a serious note, Perry explained that “It seemed too much of a literal movie then, which I totally understand from a director’s perspective or from a moviegoer’s [perspective],” she said. “If you saw me and Russell making out, although it’d be cute to, ’cause that was the first moment we met, [it would feel like,] ‘There’s Russell Brand in the movie,’ not Aldous Snow, and they want it to be Aldous Snow, [so it's] completely understandable.”

Katy Perry dethroned “House” star Olivia Wilde for the 2010 #1 spot on the Maxim’s hot 100 list. She of course also beat out swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker and “Avatar” actress Zoe Saldana. Editor in chief, Joe Levy said, “It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too.”
