“Heroes” TV actor Adrian Pasdar — the husband of Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines — has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, police said on Wednesday.
Pasdar, 44, was pulled over before dawn on Wednesday after highway patrol officers said they spotted his truck speeding on a Los Angeles freeway at 94 mph and swerving between lanes.
“Upon contacting Pasdar, the officers noticed an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from…within the vehicle” and determined the actor was under the influence of alcohol, the California Highway patrol said.
Pasdar was released early on Wednesday morning on $15,000 bail, police said. Celebrity web site TMZ.com said Pasdar had refused to take a breathalyzer test.
Pasdar played the mysterious Nathan Petrelli in the NBC TV drama about a bunch of superheroes. His character was killed off in November but may return for flashbacks.
He married country music star Maines, lead singer of the Grammy winning band Dixie Chicks, in June 2000, and they have two children.

Tiger Woods: The Count is Now 6 Mistresses

'I am the whore master!'
Troubled Tiger Woods’ foursome of alleged mistresses overnight grew to a sextet, with one boastful bedmate claiming the golf great was a sex fiend.
Mindy Lawton, a busty Florida babe, claimed she and Woods carried on a torrid one-year fling - while Tiger’s wife was pregnant.
“Sometimes I looked like a rag doll after we’d made love,” Lawton, 33, told Britain’s News of the World.
Cori Rist, a 31-year-old blond beauty and Manhattan club girl, was jetting across the country to hook up with Tiger on tour, a source told the New York Daily News.
But it was Lawton’s tell-all Tiger tale in the British tabloid that turned heads.
Lawton said she met Woods at the Orlando chain eatery where she was a manager, and where Tiger brought his wife, Elin Nordegren. To Lawton, the couple appeared “miserable . . . there was no affection there.”
The cheating hearts had “desperate” romps in five rooms in the golfer’s Windemere, Fla., manse - but never the bedroom - and even a nearby church parking lot.
Lawton revealed Woods, 33, had an insatiable appetite.
“He has a very strong sex drive,” Lawton told the paper. “On a scale of 10, I would give him a 12.”
What’s more, Lawton dished that Tiger liked talking dirty and playing rough.
But it became clear to Lawton that while she dreamed of someday of becoming “Mrs. Woods,” Tiger wasn’t interested.
“All Tiger cared about was getting me into bed,” Lawton acknowledged. “He had an urge, and I satisfied it.”
The tawdry revelations stand in stark contrast to the carefully crafted image Tiger cultivated - before the Thanksgiving car crash opened the spiggot on his sex life.
A week before the scandal erupted, Woods told fans on his Web site that it was “very difficult to leave Elin and the children” when he went on tour, “and I’m sure it’s only going to get tougher.” The couple has a 2-year-old daughter, Sam, and 10-month-old son, Charlie.
Since then, four women in addition to Lawton and Rist have been linked to Woods:
-Rachel Uchitel, Manhattan nightclub hostess;
-Jaimee Grubbs, a former “Tool Academy” star who told Us Weekly Tiger urged her to take her name off her cell phone;
-Kalika Moquin, 27, a Vegas nightclub exec; and
-Jamie Jungers, 26, a Las Vegas lingerie model.
‘Pulp Fiction’ writer taken off jail furlough

Roger Avery Mug Shot
“Pulp Fiction” co-screenwriter Roger Avary has been removed from a prison work furlough program and locked up, authorities say.
Avary was sentenced in September to a year in jail and five years probation for causing a drunken driving car crash that killed a passenger and injured Avary’s wife. News reports say he has been serving his time in a work furlough program.
But on Friday Ventura County sheriff’s spokesman Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said the 44-year-old Avary had been locked up in the county jail.
The Los Angeles Times and the Ventura County Star reported that he was removed from the furlough program and jailed after allegedly Twittering about his experiences since being sentenced.
But Bonfiglio told The Associated Press that he was jailed over security issues and Twittering wasn’t a key factor. Avary attorney Mark Werskman denied Twittering caused his incarceration.
Avary and Quentin Tarantino share the 1995 Academy Award for writing “Pulp Fiction.”
Tucker Max Plans to Leave LA

Tucker Max doesn’t like living in Los Angeles and is considering moving back to Chicago, the city he believes has the best bar scene, but the “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” filmmaker is tied to Hollywood at the moment — for better or worse.
The movie, based on Max’s New York Times best-selling book of the same title, came out Friday. This means there is still a press tour to finish and movie theater appearances to make. And because the University of Chicago graduate produced the bachelor party movie and co-wrote it with friend Nils Parker, there are still business decisions to be made.
“I hate L.A.,” said Max while sitting in his tour bus outside Naperville’s ShowPlace16 on Saturday. “Once I’m done with the movie, I’ll move to Chicago, Austin or San Francisco.”
