Bristol Palin Laughs About Levi’s Political Aspirations

Levi Johnston recently announced that he plans on running for mayor of Wasilla, Ak in 2012. If you remember, that position was held by Sarah Palin - his almost mother in law! In the wake of Bristol and Levi’s second break up, Bristol laughs off Levi’s attempt at staying in the lime light. Bristol told US Weekly, “I never knew he had political aspirations. I’m glad that Levi has not given up on completing his education and is looking for steady employment.”

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston Split….Again

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston shocked us all when they announced - only 2 short weeks ago - that they were engaged for a second time. The first time was when Bristol became pregnant with Levi’s son. However, they called it off and then began attacking each other in public, causing quite a bit of drama for mama Palin during the 2008 election season. So, what caused this most recent break up? Bristol told People magazine, “The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family,” Bristol said. “He’s just obsessed with the limelight and I got played.” Let’s see if they go for lucky number 3.

Levi Johnston Apologizes to Bristol and Palin Family

Amid rumors that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are rekindling their relationship, Johnston issued a public apology to the Palin family. Johnston provided a statement to People magazine, “Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true.” He went on to say, “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

Levi Johnston to pay $18,500 in Back Child Support

Levi Johnston was ordered to pay $18,500 in back child support and $1,688.42/month for his son, Tripp. Bristol Palin contended in court documents that Johnston only paid her $4,400 in 2009 while earning $105,000. She also made a statement claiming, “I have received limited and sporadic financial assistance from Levi.”

Levi, who recently posed semi-nude for Playgirl, was not in court when the the judge made the ruling.

Levi Johnston, the father of former Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s grandson, is going on the record about what he knows about Palin and her family.

Johnston, who welcomed son Tripp almost a year ago with Palin’s teen daughter Bristol, tells Mark Steines that the public Palin is very different from the private one: “The TV side of Sarah Palin which I am telling you is not the real Palin. She goes out and puts on a big show for you and that is the Palin you know.”

He explained that Palin used some surprising terms to describe her son Trig, born with Down Syndrome. Johnston says, “She’d come in from work and she’d be like, ‘Hey, where is my retarded baby,’ and just something like along those lines. The kids, Bristol and them, didn’t think much of it, but the first time I heard it, I was in shock, I didn’t know what to say. So, but then she, it kind of became a normal thing for her to say and you know, I guess, but she’d always have a smile on her face, laughing about it.”

Ex-boyfriend to Bristol Palin arrived at the Teen Choice Awards with actress/comedian Kathy Griffin. Asked how the date came about, Levi, 19, answered, “She gave me a call and offered me a date, so I took it.” The two took some time to answer questions about their love for moose and sheep hunting in Alaska, apparently a nudge at Ex-Governor Sarah Palin.
