Lily Allen opens up about miscarriage and eating disorder.

Lily Allen of UK’s Channel 4 documentary ‘Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags’ recently spoke about her October miscarriage. Allen and boyfriend, Sam Cooper, were devastated when she last the baby six months into the pregnancy.

Allen said, “It was a really long battle, and I think that kind of thing changes a person.” Just one week after the painful miscarriage she was rushed to the hospital and found that she had septicaemia (blood poisoning).

The singer also opened up about her eating disorder saying, “I used to vomit after meals. It’s not something I’m proud of. But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I’d be on the cover of every magazine.”

She continues, “I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn’t happy, I really wasn’t. I would love to be the skinniest minniest person in the world but I can’t do that without being unhappy — I like food.”

Allen went on to say, “I’m a pop star, not a model. Don’t make me feel s**t for not being really skinny and having an eating disorder.”

After two years of dating, Cooper asked Allen to marry him on Christmas Day last year in Bali.

Lily Allen Is Pregnant

British singing sensation, Lily Allen, confirmed that she and boyfriend Sam Cooper are expecting their first child together. Her rep told PEOPLE, “Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend.” Allen suffered a miscarriage about 2 years ago and recently told a British radio show that having children “is ultimately my main goal in life and more of a priority than flying around the world jumping up and down on stage singing songs.”

British singing sensations Lily Allen chatted with the ladies on ‘The View‘ about her battle with the paparazzi, Katy Perry, and Elton John. Lily made some interesting points about how the media portrays celebrities, especially young women. I’m not sure that I believe that she isn’t a little train-wrecky, but she seemed to have her stuff together for this interview!

Lily Allen went ape and slapped, punched and kicked a paparazzo in London, yesterday. The feisty singer has a history of attacking the paps and this is at least her second time doing so.

This latest incident came after a pap accidentally rear-ended her car. As soon as the singer realised what had happened, she got out and started hitting and throwing things and them.
