Portia DeRossi has filed legal papers to change her name to “Portia Lee James DeGeneres.” The couple married in 2008 when same sex marriage in California was still legal. DeRossi previously changed her name from Amanda Lee Rogers to DeRossi when she was 15 years old.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were married on Saturday at a private home on the Mediterranean Sea. Keys, 29, wore a Vera Wang dress and Beatz, 31 wore a Tom Ford tuxedo. They are expecting their first child but have not released the gender of the baby. Beatz told PEOPLE magazine, “Whatever we’re blessed with, that baby is being born to blessed parents. Carrie Underwood got married this weekend to pro-hockey player Mark Fisher at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga. Carrie had a grand southern style wedding complete with a Chantilly lace dress by Monique Lhuillier. The two quoted their favorite Bible readings and classical music played during the ceremony. Guests included Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson. In a statement to People magazine, the couple (who signed their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher”) said, “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” After the reception, the couple headed to Bora Bora and Tahiti for their honeymoon.

Alanis Morissette was apparently married to rapper, Souleye, on May 22nd at their home in what was a very private wedding ceremony. Morissette just confirmed it via her Twitter account. The two started dating just last October but things heated up pretty quickly for the two. Souleye got his start as a rapper when he won a spot on Jam Cruise in 2005, a contest put on by Relix magazine.
