Who bid the ‘Idol’ stage farewell tonight?

Fans said goodbye to Matt Giraud tonight on American Idol. After some great performances by Natalie Cole, Taylor Hicks and Jamie Foxx, Matt was sent on his way. While I’m not really sure I agree with the way it all panned out, somebody had to go.

I think Matt will be successful enough that he doesn’t need American Idol. I just wish it would have been Danny Gokey.

American Idol Top 5 Performances

Under the guidance of mentor Jamie Foxx, the American Idol Top 5 performed the hits of the Rat Pack last night on the hit reality show.
