There are reports that Michael Jackson had a Las Vegas dentist do a procedure on his son, Blanket, in July, 2008, which involved two hours under the same anesthesia that eventually took his own life. The procedure took two hours and the dentist reportedly did not have the permit needed to administer the drug. An anesthesiologist had Blanket sedated for the entire two hours, the boy was only 6 years old at the time.

According to the Nevada Board of Dental Examiners, Dr. Mark Tadrissi informed Jackson he did not have the permit required to administer the drug. Jackson did not want to hear about that and told the doctor, “Have an anesthesiologist do whatever type of sedation required.”

The Board took disciplinary action against the dentist for allowing the boy to be anesthetized and for allowing Jackson to recieve Propofol in his office. Dr. Tadrissi was sanctioned in 2010 after he struck a deal with the Nevada Board, which the Board passed. In the final version of the report, there is no mention about the boy and his treatment. Sources say that the Board was pressured to delete the information from the final draft.
