New Jersey Governor Slams MTV Reality Show, “Jersey Shore”

New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, recently dished about his view’s regarding MTV’s hit reality show “Jersey Shore.” He said that the show is “Negative for New Jersey.” He went on to say, “It takes a bunch of New Yorkers, drops them at the Jersey Shore, and tries to make America feel like this is the Jersey Shore. I can tell people — they want to know what New Jersey really is — I welcome them to come to New Jersey anytime. The Jersey Shore is a beautiful place.”

Cast of Jersey Shore Going on Strike?

TMZ has reported that the cast of “Jersey Shore” are “dissatisfied” with their contracts. They have recently wrapped up their second season of filming in Miami and are back at the shore. Guess we will wait and see what happens…..“Jersey Shore” Season 2 premieres on MTV on July 29.

Charges Pressed against Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola of Jersey Shore

A 24 year old has pressed charges against Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola of the MTV hit, Jersey Shore. Kristin DeMinco is claiming that Giancola punched her twice in the face while they were at a Miami nightclub, leaving a bruise under the girl’s eye. According to DeMinco, she struck up a conversation with a man who she later found out was Sammi boyfriend. They exchanged words and Sammi then struck the girl. DeMinco made a statement to the press outside the police office, saying, “This isn’t acceptable for people to be going around hitting people just for TV. I think it’s wrong of MTV, I think it’s wrong of them. I think they do it on purpose.”

Movie Line is reporting that after much ballyhoo with the cast’s contract, Jersey Shore people have finally found a place to ship the eight for the MTV breakout hit’s second destination - South Beach, Florida!

This, after TMZ got hold of a letter allegedly sent by Jersey Shore producers to the owner of Mynt Lounge in Miami, asking for clearance to film insides its premises sometime in March and April.

So after scouting the entire country for the location of Jersey Shore season 2, is it really official? Are the guidos/guidettes really heading to Florida?

Apparently, MTV is already renting a house off Lincoln Road, SoBe’s premiere shopping area, and renovating it in time for the show’s sophomore season, Movie Line insists.

If anything, Jersey Shore’s prized routine - gym, tanning, laundry - shouldn’t be a problem in SoBe.

MTV is so eager to get another season of “Jersey Shore” onto the air that it has decided the “Jersey” part is expendable.

Snooki, The Situation and their pals will shine no matter where they pitch their beach umbrellas, MTV figures.

It makes you wonder if you missed the announcement that MTV has delegated its executive decision-making to a couple of drunks at the Bada Bing.

Moving “Jersey Shore” out of Jersey and expecting it to retain its style and attitude is the reality-show equivalent of thinking you can buy a bagel in Indiana and it will taste like a bagel in Brooklyn.
