Natalie Portman gives birth to a baby boy.

Academy Award winning actress Natalie Portman and fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, have welcomed a son into their lives.

The couple met on the set of ‘Swan’. Millepied is a principal dancer in the New York City Ballet and choreographed the dances and was her partner on the big screen.

“We got along right away; she’s very, very professional, not difficult - there’s no attitude there,” Millepied told sources.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Portman said of the pregnancy a few months ago.

Mom-to-be Natalie Portman is having some weird cravings. Now the former self proclaimed “vegan activists” realized that continuing the vegan ways was not for her.

Portman adopted the vegan diet after realding Jonathan Safran Foer’s book, ‘Eating Animals’. She said, “I actually went back to being vegetarian when I became pregnant, just because I felt like I wanted that stuff. I was listening to my body to have eggs and dairy and that sort of stuff.”

Portman recently launched a line of vegan shoes with Te Casan, and said of the switch, “If you’re not eating eggs, then you can’t have cookies or cake from regular bakeries, which can become a problem when that’s all you want to eat.”

“I actually wanted eggs at the beginning and then they grossed me out after awhile,” she said of the new diet. “I know there are people who do stay vegan,” she added, “but I think you have to just be careful, watch your iron levels and your B12 levels and supplement those if there are things you might be low in your diet.”

Portman is due in the summer and says she may revert to her former diet after giving birth. “We are capable of considering others’ minds and others’ pain,” she told sources of her vegan lifestyle. “Whereas those who justify eating animals say the same thing: We are not them. They do not merit the same value of being as us. They are not us.”

Actress Natalie Portman took home the award for best actress in a leading role at the Oscars. Portman won the award for her role as a troubled ballerina Nina Sayer in the movie ‘Black Swan’.

In her acceptance speech, she said, “I truly, sincerely, wish the prize was to get to work with my fellow nominees. I’m so in awe of all of you”.

Portman beat Annette Bening, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Williams and Nicole Kidman for the Oscar. The award was presentedto her by Jeff Bridges.

Portman said thank you to her “beautiful love”, husband, Benjamin Millepied, the dancer and ‘Swan’ choreographer, who she says “has now given me my most important role of my life.”

Actress Natalie Portman and fiancé Benjamin Millepied are expecting their first child together. Rumor has it that the couple has told family that it is a boy, but tell sources that they are keeping it a surprise.

Benjamin Millepied, 33, is the principal dancer for the New York City ballet. Millepied is French born and is a choreographer, with is recent work being Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan”.

During a recent interview, Millepied was shy about the relationship he share with Portman and became tongue tied when saying, “we’re just two people”.

During the interview he said, “Darren was so focused, and I could see the intensity in the performances during the shoots,” the dancer said. “There was something emotionally consuming taking place. I’m very happy for everyone involved.”

“And I’m thrilled to be a dad, too, of course,” he smiled.

Natalie Portman Says She’s Not Dating Sean Penn

Natalie Portman, 27, has spoken out against rumours that she is dating 48-year-old Sean Penn.

She tells Extra:

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague. The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”

Penn, 48, recently filed for legal separation from his wife of 13 years, Robin Wright Penn. Tabloid rumors stated that Natalie and Sean were spotted “making out” at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel in March.
