New Jersey Governor Slams MTV Reality Show, “Jersey Shore”

New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, recently dished about his view’s regarding MTV’s hit reality show “Jersey Shore.” He said that the show is “Negative for New Jersey.” He went on to say, “It takes a bunch of New Yorkers, drops them at the Jersey Shore, and tries to make America feel like this is the Jersey Shore. I can tell people — they want to know what New Jersey really is — I welcome them to come to New Jersey anytime. The Jersey Shore is a beautiful place.”

‘Jerky Shore’ Headed for South Beach?

Movie Line is reporting that after much ballyhoo with the cast’s contract, Jersey Shore people have finally found a place to ship the eight for the MTV breakout hit’s second destination - South Beach, Florida!

This, after TMZ got hold of a letter allegedly sent by Jersey Shore producers to the owner of Mynt Lounge in Miami, asking for clearance to film insides its premises sometime in March and April.

So after scouting the entire country for the location of Jersey Shore season 2, is it really official? Are the guidos/guidettes really heading to Florida?

Apparently, MTV is already renting a house off Lincoln Road, SoBe’s premiere shopping area, and renovating it in time for the show’s sophomore season, Movie Line insists.

If anything, Jersey Shore’s prized routine - gym, tanning, laundry - shouldn’t be a problem in SoBe.

Danielle’s (Real Housewive’s) Ex Hubby plans Lawsuit

Danielle Staub’s brief first marriage may not have been a bed of roses, but according to her ex, it certainly wasn’t a bed of broken glass, either!

Kevin Maher, who was married to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star for barely a year in the 1980s, tells E! News that Staub has repeatedly slandered him and he is planning to take legal action.

“I am filing a lawsuit against my ex-wife, Danielle Staub, stemming from her allegations that I raped her on a bed of broken glass, inserted my handgun inside her and played Russian Roulette, and last but not least, killing her dog by way of hanging it,” Maher states. “She also threatened me on the reunion show that Bravo aired.”
