Shania Twain has told sources that she is losing her voice. The singer goes on to say that she is going through therapy to restore her speech as well as her singing voice. She says that after years of suppressing and repressing her voice and emotions, her vocal cords became damaged.
Twain says her condition is known as Dysphonia, which impairs your abilities to produce sounds with your vocal cords.
The 45 year old singer says it all started when she found out about her ex-husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange, having an affair with a close friend, Marie-Ane Thiebaud.
Twain reveals, “I had reached a point in my life where there was a bottleneck, physically, in my throat. Something had to give.”
“I never contemplated killing myself. But certainly there were moments where I didn’t want to live. I wouldn’t have done anything about it, but I just lost my will to live. But I can understand why people do. Living in silence is very painful,” Twain said during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Twain is now remarried to Frederic Thiebaud, who was the husband of her former friend. The couple got married Janauary 1, 2011 in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
Twain wrote on Twitter, “I’m in love! Frederic has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend. Over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship.”
Rosie O’Donnell and Oprah not seeing eye to eye for new show.

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell and talk show host Oprah Winfrey are reportedly “not seeing eye to eye on the tone of Rosie’s new show”, sources say. “Oprah sees it as a friendly daytime talk show where viewers get to spend an hour with the old Rosie they used to love. Rosie, on the other hand, thinks the show should be more political and a place where she can express her liberal views.”
Oprah visited Rosie at her home and reportedly gave Rosie a warning tha she “better behave” on her show.
“The two are disagreeing over staff,” sources say. “Oprah wants Rosie to use an executive producer that she knows and trusts while Rosie insists she be able to pick her own, fearing whoever Oprah picks will be a spy. It’s a bad way to start off, considering they haven’t even taped a single show yet.”
Oprah Winfrey has a half-sister.

Talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, revealed on her show on Monday that she has a half sister named Patricia. Winfrey called it a “bombshell family secret that left me speechless.”
Winfrey’s new found relative, Patricia, is around 10 years younger than Winfrey. She learned the news just before Thanksgiving.
Winfrey explained that she broke the news on her show because she knew that the media would get ahold of it and it would get out and be exploited. She did not want that to happen and went on to say, “if it wasn’t true, I wouldn’t care what the media says. But it is true. And I wanted you to hear it from me first.”
Much of Oprah’s show on Monday was spent how her half-sister realized she was related to Winfrey and the long process. She also talked about the reaction of her mother and sister when they met in Milwaukee, which was recorded on home video. Oprah thanked her sister for not going to the media with this news.
Winfrey was raised by her grandmother, mother and father and sepmother in Mississippi, Wisconsin and Tennessee. Her parents were unwed teens. She got pregnant at 14 but the baby did not make it. She told Piers Morgan on his show that she would not be where she is today if she had that baby.
