The scoop about Scarlett Johannson…

The rumor mill has been hard at work saying that Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn were dating. Johansson’s rep has confirmed that the duo is nothing more than friends. “Scarlett and Sean are not dating– they have been friends for years,” her rep says. “Nothing more, nothing less. They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett’s upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam’s Global Ambassador.”

Penn, 24, has and still is very committed to the work of rebuilding Haiti after the earthquake. Penn can definately help Johannson while going through her divorce. Penn’s divorce from Robin Wright was finalized in January and sources say he “got taken for one-half of everything.”

Rumors have also been flying about Johannson and soon to be ex Ryan Reynolds. Rumor has it that the two are allegedly seeing each other again. Truth is, sources say, that they are legally seperated and working out the divorce settlement. Allegedly, Johansson is devastated about all of the talk and rumors of Reynolds romance with Sandra Bullock.

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds: friends?

Sandra Bullock invited Ryan Reynolds to Texas for New Years Eve. The duo enjoyed dining at Bess Bistro in Austin, Texas and onlookers say they were holding hands at one point. Bullock has been helping Reynolds through his recent split.

No word yet on if they are a “couple” or not. A source has said, “they both happen to be single at the same time and have a lot of chemistry.”

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Spotted Together After Split

After news of their confirmed separation, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johannson were spotted at a restaurant together New York’s Blue Ribbon sushi restaurant. A source told PEOPLE magazine, “They were smiling and laughing the whole time.” This has sparked rumors that the two may be reconciling. However, based on the following statement they released, it seems as though they are determined to remain friends: “After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement to Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

US has reported that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are calling it quits after two years of marriage. A source said, “They are being very civil about it. The big problem with their relationship is the distance. They spent a lot of time apart when they are working. … She’s been unhappy for a while.” Apparently, the two separated about two weeks ago. The pair started dating in 2007 and married a year later.

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds to Team Up for Another Movie?

Sandra Bullock’s rep recently announced that she may be teaming up with her “Proposal” co-star, Ryan Reynolds again, saying, “The project is currently in development and she is looking forward to reading the script.” The movie is an action - comedy called “Most Wanted,” which involves a criminal suspect (potentially Bullock’s role) who is escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) where they are ambushed and forced to go on the run. Looks like she is ready to get back to making movies!

Blake Lively Tapped for ‘Green Lantern’

Lively will play Carol Ferris, the Lantern’s love interest and the daughter of an aerospace mogul who hires the pilot Hal Jordan (aka Green Lantern/ Ryan Reynolds).

The report indicates that Lively’s Ferris will be faithful to her comics counterpart, who has some skills of which Serena van der Wooden could only dream: Carol “runs her father’s aerospace company” and hires Jordan, and in the comics she even does some flying of her own.
