The tension between Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johannson continues.

It seems the tension is still thick between actresses Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson. The ladies avoided each other at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

An insider has reportedly said, “It seemed like both of their arrivals were carefully staged to make sure they were never on the red carpet together. They both knew the other was presenting so it was no surprise that they would be at the same event, but they sure managed to keep away from one another.”

Johansson showed up on the red carpet with her agent, Joe Machota. Bullock looked perfectly happy all by herself on the red carpet.

The rift between the one time friends began when Johansson and husband Ryan Reynolds filed for divorce in December. Bullock and Reynolds continue to swear they are just friends. Johansson and Reynolds have had the rumor mill running as they have were spotted having lunch.

“So much has happened to Sandra in the past 12 months since she won an Oscar that I’m sure she wanted a drama-free night on Sunday,” a friend told sources.

Sources also say, “Whether or not Scarlett would be attending had nothing to do with her decision to attend, and what she does in her private life with a man that is getting divorced is entirely up to her.”

Jesse James is engaged to girlfriend of six months, Kat Von D.

Reportedly Sandra Bullock, Jesse James’ ex-wife, was told that the news would come out this week on the newly engaged couple. Sources say that Bullock has accepted that he is moving on with his life. Bullock is focused on her adopted son, Louis and she plans to keep her focus on being a good mom to him.

“It may seem like only yesterday that Jesse and Sandra split, but for her, life has changed so much, that it seems like ages ago,” our source has revealed.

James knew he needed to let Bullock know in advance so she “knew it was coming and she was ready”, according to a source.

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds: friends?

Sandra Bullock invited Ryan Reynolds to Texas for New Years Eve. The duo enjoyed dining at Bess Bistro in Austin, Texas and onlookers say they were holding hands at one point. Bullock has been helping Reynolds through his recent split.

No word yet on if they are a “couple” or not. A source has said, “they both happen to be single at the same time and have a lot of chemistry.”

Kat Von D laid the rumors to rest when she finally confirmed that she and bad boy Jesse James are in fact a couple. She told Access Hollywood, “Are you asking me if we are a couple? It is confirmed, yes.” The 28 year old tattoo model and the 41 year old divorced father of 3 met when she was just 22 years old. Kat said the pair have only had a platonic relationship until just recently when they were spotted in Vegas in August. When asked how she felt about James, she told People Magazine, “Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. People magazine reported that the divorce papers for Sandra Bullock and Jesse James’ were filed under seal last week. Bullock’s representative confirmed that the divorce was final.

Jesse James’ Ex Says He has “Back Up Girl”

Jesse James’ ex wife, Janine Lindemulder, said that while Jesse does want to reconcile with Bullock, he has other girls waiting on him. Lindemulder told In Touch Weekly, “He told me that if he doesn’t get back together with Sandra, he’s got a ‘backup plan’ with another girl in Austin.” Lindemulder told the magazine. She went on to say, “Every city he goes to — even if he didn’t have a girl that lived there, I believe he would fly a girl in.”

Sandra Bullock’s rep recently announced that she may be teaming up with her “Proposal” co-star, Ryan Reynolds again, saying, “The project is currently in development and she is looking forward to reading the script.” The movie is an action - comedy called “Most Wanted,” which involves a criminal suspect (potentially Bullock’s role) who is escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) where they are ambushed and forced to go on the run. Looks like she is ready to get back to making movies!

Sandra Bullock Wins Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year

On Saturday, June 5th, Sandra Bullock was at the Spike’s Guys Choice Awards where she accepted the award for Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year. This award is chosen by military personnel. Bullock, who wore a tight leather dress thanked the military for their service and also make a joke about her personal life. She joked, “Let’s be honest here, just for a moment. We’re all going to be honest, right?” Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life? She went on to say, “It’s OK, because I would do it over and over again if it was to entertain our troops.”

Jesse James Moving to Austin to be Closer to Bullock?

Jesse James has started the wheels in motion for what we can only guess is his way of trying to get closer to estranged wife, Sandra Bullock. James has put a bid in on a house in Austin, Texas - same place where Bullock owns a restaurant and was considered the couple’s adopted town. Bullock was recently seen in Austin shopping with her baby and checking in on her restaurant. James was “coincidentally” in Austin as well but kept his distance. It is expected James will put up the couples LA beachfront home soon and continue to work toward winning Sandra back.

Sandra Bullock Files for Divoce While Finalizing Adoption

Whew, what a year Sandra Bullock has had! She won an Oscar for her role in the movie, “The Blind Side” and then less than two weeks later, she found out about her hubby’s extra marital affairs. The following few months have been filled with more women coming forward with information about affairs they have had with James. Bullock kept a very low profile until just recently when she was seen without her wedding band and now she confirmed everyone’s suspicions by filing for divorce on April 23rd. She seems to want to proceed with divorce amicably and below radar. However, we just found out that Bullock and James have been preparing to adopt an infant and were going to announce this news but the affairs broke just before then. Bullock says she is now finalizing the adoption as a single parent. Her son is a 3 1/2 month old adorable little boy named Louis. He has been her joy in the last few painful months.
