Michelle Trachtenberg, ‘[Sarah Michelle Gellar] She’s going to be an extraordinary mom.’

Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg was ecstatic when she found out that her former costar and good friend Sarah Michelle Gellar was pregnant. “I was jumping for joy,” said the Michelle, who played Gellar’s little sister when they both starred on ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘.

“We talk every other day. I’m super excited,” the actress dished. “I’m so very happy for her and Freddie. She’s going to be an extraordinary mom. Good people make great parents.”

Trachtenber also went on to mention how it is that Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. have such an amazing relationship. “It’s in the Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner or Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin vein – they really don’t talk about their relationship. They keep their private, personal love life to themselves. That’s what makes it so special.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Sarah Michelle Gellar has announced to the world that she is pregnant with her first child, after six years of marriage to Freddie Prinze Jr..

“They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that the actress, 31, is due in the fall. 

Gellar, who has been married to Prinze, 33, for six years, will next shoot the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays, for which she serves as an executive producer. Prinze recently shot the comedy pilot No Heroics for ABC.
