Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn Reconciling Again?

Sean Penn and his long-term love of 11 years of marriage, Robin Wright Penn were on the verge of a split after an official divorce proceed was started in December 2007. 

Well, it seems the second time Sean has rescinded divorce papers has also been a waste of time.

It seems the famous pair may be on the verge of another reconcilliation.

“This appears to imply that they’re reconciling again,” says L.A. divorce lawyer Lynn Soodik, who is not involved with the case. “It’s unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason.” 

This is the second time the actor has rescinded divorce papers. Penn, 48, and Wright Penn, 43, started divorce proceedings in December 2007 after 11 years of marriage. 

But they put the brakes on their divorce action four months later, in April 2008, when a court clerk dismissed the divorce petition at their request. 

A lawyer for Sean Penn didn’t immediately return a call for comment. Wright Penn has been at the Cannes Film Festival, where she’s a member of the jury, since last week. She attended the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit on May 21.

Natalie Portman Says She’s Not Dating Sean Penn

Natalie Portman, 27, has spoken out against rumours that she is dating 48-year-old Sean Penn.

She tells Extra:

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague. The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”

Penn, 48, recently filed for legal separation from his wife of 13 years, Robin Wright Penn. Tabloid rumors stated that Natalie and Sean were spotted “making out” at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel in March.
