Joe Jonas and Demi Lovado confirmed that after 3 months of dating, they have called it quits. Joe Jonas, 20, was the one to do the breaking up and Lovado confirmed same. Both say they will remain friends and will still be touring together this summer.

Pitt & Jolie Sue Paper over Rumors

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are suing the UK based tabloid, News of the World, over the article published about them meeting with attorneys to divide their estate. The false article, which went global and was reprinted by just about everyone, including us, said that the couple was splitting, and neg with attorneys on how to divide up their assets and child custody.

Pitt and Jolie decided to sue the paper after attempts for a reasonable apology failed. They also demanded a retraction of the article, which did not occur.

Report: Brad Pitt buys Bachelor pad in Hollywood

I don’t know if this is true or not, but UK is reporting that Brad Pitt and Jolie are split and that Pitt has bought a place of his own in the Hollywood hills.

Over the weekend, additional reports were released that the Pitt/Jolie crew were splitting, and that attorneys were involved to legally divide the house. Then, yesterday reports were coming out from friends that things couldn’t be better between the two and that the weekend news were just hype. So who knows. Pitt did buy a house in Hollywood— why???? Your guess is as good as anyone else’s at this point.

Friends say Pitt & Jolie NOT Breaking up

Though there are reports, and plenty of rumors going around that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have broken, for real this time - close friends are reporting that this is not the case. Reports over the weekend had the Pitt/Jolie household at their attorneys office working on documents to split their fortune and child custody.

”It seems every time Brad and Angie happen to be in separate cities — no matter why — these breakup rumors start flying. … It’s like an almost monthly occurence,” said the studio honcho.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal know how to quit each other.

The couple is no longer together.

Sources confirm that the two decided to end their relationship about two weeks ago. People magazine actually reported the split back then, but reps for both stars insisted they were still very much in love.

Reps are not commenting this time around.

A Rod and Hudson Break Up

Alex Rodriguez spent the weekend flirting with a string of beautiful girls in Miami — telling one, “I’m definitely single,” sources tell Page Six.

The Yankee slugger was “acting like a single man,” partying with two pretty girls at the W Hotel Friday before zeroing in on a blonde at the Armani Exchange Sunglass dinner at The Delano on Saturday.

But it was business as usual for beaming Kate Hudson, who refused to talk about her private life yesterday when we asked about A-Rod at a lunch for her movie “Nine” hosted by Harvey Weinstein at Per Se. Reps for both Kate and A-Rod declined to confirm that the pair had split, although a source told us last night, “They’ve definitely broken up. There’s been some drama before about his roving eye. But this isn’t the first time they’ve split up and got back together.”

Steven Tyler Reportedly May Leave Aerosmith

Aerosmith may be looking to replace frontman Steven Tyler, despite the band’s 40th anniversary less than a year away.

Tyler’s possible departure is reportedly linked to the singer’s focus on his solo career. In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, he said he doesn’t know what he’ll be doing next “but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of myself — Brand Tyler.”

Classic Rock magazine reports that Aerosmith is planning to meet without Tyler to discuss possibly replacing him or going on a long hiatus.

Guitarist Brad Whitford said Tyler leaves “big shoes to fill” and that no one could imitate him.

“But, if somebody was willing to do it and the chemistry was right, why not?” said Whitford.

The 61-year-old singer suffered a fall off the stage during a show in Abu Dhabi, which reportedly put strain on the band that had to cancel the rest of the tour.

Aerosmith formed in 1970 and have released 14 albums. Among their most famous music includes ‘Walk This Way,’ ‘Janie’s Got a Gun,’ and ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady.)

Emmy Rossum getting divorced

Emmy Rossum’s year-and-a-half marriage has come to an end.

The actress’ husband, music executive Justin Siegel, has filed for divorce from the star. Siegel cites irreconcilable differences and is asking for spousal support and court costs.

The pair reportedly split last month, though the filing was just the other day.

No worries though, she has now been linked with Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz.

Avril Lavigne Splits From Husband

Canadian superstar Avril Lavigne has said later-boy to her skater boy.

The Napanee, Ont., songstress confirmed in a statement that she and fellow Canadian rocker, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, have separated.

“Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note,” she said in a statement posted on her website Thursday night.

“I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart.”

Lavigne, 24, is reported to have asked Whibley, whom she married in 2006, to move out of their Los Angeles mansion.

According to Us Weekly magazine, a friend said “she dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on. Divorce papers will be filed any day now.”

The Scarborough, Ont.-born Whibley, is reportedly “crushed” by the demise of the relationship and Lavigne’s demand he leave their $9.5-million US 12,000-square-foot house.

According to reports, Lavigne is apparently so determined to turn the page on the relationship, she has opted to cut tracks from her forthcoming CD. Whibley, 29, is said to have produced eight of the nine songs recorded for the album at the couple’s studio in Tarzana, Calif.

A friend told Us Weekly, “She is going to do new songs that don’t have his mark on them. She wants no trace of him.”

Rumours of a rift between the two grew louder in recent months. In August, Lavigne was spotted partying with friends, with her husband nowhere to be seen.
