Is Miss Universe Australia too thin?

Miss Universe Australia finalist Stephanie Naumoska caused quite a stir on Thursday when she was selected to compete in Australia’s Miss Universe contest. Naumoska’s participation in the contest came as a bit of a shock, since the competition normally focuses on more “healthy, proportioned, bodies.”

At 5 ft. 11 inches, and only 108 lbs, Naumoska has body mas index of only 15.1, which according to some Australian health professionals classifies her as malnourished. Read more
