Marie Osmond’s son texted a friend before his apparent suicide

On January 27th Michael Blosil, adopted son of Marie Osmond, left a text message for a female friend saying he left her a note in his apartment. He then apparently jumped from his 8th story apartment. The 18 year old was supposed to meet up with his friend that night but instead left her the note which apparently said that she was his only friend in LA and that he was very unhappy. She and and Blosil’s roommate started to search for him but then heard the sirens from below and learned of Michael’s fate.

Adopted mother, Marie Osmond, published a statement saying she and her family are “devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss.”

Alexander McQueen Hanged Himself

Alexander McQueen hanged himself last week in his London apartment — and left a note — British coroners confirmed on Wednesday. The acclaimed fashion designer, beloved by such stars as Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Gwen Stefani and many others, died at age 40 from asphyxiation and hanging.

Full autopsy results will be available in a few months; the office has not yet formally ruled the death a suicide.

The coroner’s office has not released the contents of McQueen’s final note. But McQueen had Tweeted numerous messages days earlier in which he grieved about the recent death of his mother, referencing his “awful week.”

Baldwin Hospital Visit over Suicide?

Reports are coming out today that Alec Baldwin’s rush to the hospital was sparked by a threat of suicide by pills. Baldwins teenage daughter called 911 yesterday after fighting with her dad:

“I’m going to take some pills. I’m going to end this” — and then got furious when the panicked teen called 911, police and sources said.

He was watched and checked at the hospital after his arrival and it turns out that he hadn’t overdosed on pills, but had taken an Ambien so that he could get some sleep. Sources also say that he has been fighting with ex-wife Kim Bassinger.

Artie Langee Tries to Kill Himself

Artie Lange, was found last Saturday in his kitchen by his mother with 9 stab wounds to his torso. He apparently tried to kill himself. She then called an ambulance and they took him to the hospital. Lange, is known for his stand up comedy and being the side kick on The Howard Stern Show. In the past, Lange has also wrestled with drug abuse.

“We all have our demons,” said Stern, referring to Lange’s past battles with addiction. “Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.”

Vic Chesnutt Kills Himself

Vic Chesnutt, a singer-songwriter from Athens, Ga. known for his painful and poignant songs, died on Friday (Dec. 25) after an apparent suicide attempt. He was 45.

“In the few short years that we knew him personally, Vic transformed our sense of what true character, grace and determination are all about,” said the founders his label, Constellation Records, in a statement posted on its webste. “Our grief is inexpressible and Vic’s absence unfathomable.”

The news about the singer’s condition first spread through the Internet on Wednesday through Twitter posts by former Throwing Muses singer Kristin Hersh, who has collaborated with Chesnutt.

Ryan Jenkins Suicide Note Found

Reality television contestant Ryan Jenkins left a note on his computer three days before hanging himself in a hotel room.

Jenkins, a suspect in the brutal murder of his swimsuit model wife, Jasmine Fiore, blames her for their unsuccessful marriage, saying she was beautiful, he loved her, and she made him jealous by sleeping with former boyfriends.

Although ostensibly a will, investigators consider the note found on the hard drive of the Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant’s computer a “suicide note” because it provides insight into what he was thinking.

Fiore’s body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a trash bin last August. She had been dismembered, with her teeth and fingertips removed, and was identified by serial numbers on her breast implants.

Jenkins does not deny nor admit to Fiore’s murder in the one-and-a-half page letter — glaringly omitting the manner in which she died, or that he was a suspect in her death.

The will contains personal requests for money and assets to go to specific family members, and an apology to his family and friends for “all the pain and suffering” they would be going through.

Members of Jenkins’ family have never believed he committed the murder.

Jaclyn Smith Says She’s Alive and Well

Actress Jaclyn Smith (Charlie’s Angels) took to her Twitter and Facebook pages Tuesday afternoon to debunk reports saying she had shot herself in Honduras.

“Jaclyn is safe and home with her family. She is not in Honduras. It is a lie,” she posted on her pages. Her rep adds: “Totally untrue. She is fine, spoke to her this morning.”

DJ AM: Suicide?

DJ AM may have committed suicide, it was reported yesterday.

The celebrity disc jockey had eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach and another in his mouth when he was found dead in his Manhattan apartment Friday, a law enforcement source told People.com.

“He wanted to die,” said the source, adding he believes the spinner swallowed the pills quickly.

DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, had recently broken up with his girlfriend and authorities found a valentine from her in a nearby room, the source said.
