Kanye West blogs, Working on New Music

January 5, 2010 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Kanye reports that he is back to work in the studios making new music for his fans. On his site, he went on to thanks fans for their love and support for him over the last 6 years. He says the music and his work is like other modern-day poets and artists, it is “to accurately represent what is happening now, so when the powers that be try to rewrite history, you can always look at our works and find truth and sincerity.” Whatever! No one of any significance will ever refer to your work to find out what was gong on in the world. You’re just as self centered and a sell out as the people you complain about.

Taylor Lautner beheaded a mannequin of Kanye West on Saturday Night Live.

The Twilight: New Moon star reenacted the night of the MTV Video Music Awards in September, when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, for a comedy sketch as he appeared as guest host on the NBC show.

Lautner was joined by mannequins with masks of Kanye and Swift’s faces on, and defended the country singer’s honour by performing kung fu kicks on the Kanye dummy, beheading it, before kissing Swift.

Lautner had presented Swift with the award for Best Female Video at the ceremony in New York in September when Kanye stormed the stage and said he believed Beyonce should have won. He later apologised.

Lautner and Swift are yet to officially confirm they are dating but when the singer guest hosted Saturday Night Live recently, she performed a spoof song in which she blew the actor a kiss.

“Tonight I’m just gonna dance around with my band and my crew and my label,” she told PEOPLE after winning Entertainer of the Year in Nashville Wednesday night.

“I’m going to go hang out with my crew and my band and the people at my record label, and we’re going to hug and dance and jump up and down,” she added later.

“I never imagined that the unattainable thing that I dreamed about could happen to me at 19,” she said. “It’s a lot to absorb. So now the next challenge is to find the next challenge.”

But first things first – where to put her awards.

“I got my first place, so I’m going to put these someplace very, very centrally located!” she said. “I’m not quite sure where. I might have to put up some shelves.”

Kanye West apologized for yet another one of his outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards, this time directed at country-pop sweetheart Taylor Swift. The disruption upstaged not just Swift’s awards speech, but the entire evening, including an emotional tribute to Michael Jackson.

In a rare conciliatory moment, West took to his blog to apologize. In a standard all-caps message, West said: “I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!”
