Sources say ‘The Biggest Loser’ may have another trainer on board. Reportedly, tennis star, Anna Kournikova, will be joining the fitness show next season. An official announcement will be made after the finale on Tuesday.
Jillian Michaels has departed the show and some major changes are under way. Kournikova will join new trainers Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebe. Michaels made the announcement that she would be leaving the show last year. She has decided to focus on her family.
Kournikova is no stranger to fitness, she debuted her talents at the US Open when she was 15 years old and was ESPN’s Hottest Female Athlete in 2010. The tennis star has been with singer Enrique Iglesias since 2001.

Sources say Jillian Michaels from ‘The Biggest Loser’ is planning to adopt a baby from Congo. Michaels has told sources that all the paperwork is completed and she is now waiting on a call to go pick up her baby girl or boy.
Michaels told a source, “My dossier, which is your paperwork portfolio, is in to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. So the paperwork is done, and now it’s just a waiting game.”
She went on to say, “It could be six months, twelve months; it could be two years. Or, it could be tomorrow! They call you and they say, ‘Oh, we have your referral,’ which is essentially the child they match you up with, and you go overseas and you get him or her.”
“I can’t handle doing that to my body. Also, when you rescue something, it’s like rescuing a part of yourself,” Michaels said of getting pregnant. She caught some heat for a comment she made during an interview saying she would rather adopt an African baby than to get pregnant.
In a later interview, Michaels explained that she has endometriosis and had a whole list of reasons she could not get pregnant. She revealed that she was ashamed because people expected her to be the “healthiest woman in the world”.
“The reality is that I have endometriosis, and I most likely couldn’t get pregnant. I’ve had the X-rays, my tubes are closed, the uterine lining is too thick, blah, blah, blah. I was ashamed about it because I thought I’m supposed to be the healthiest woman in the world, and what does this say about me if I can’t have kids of my own. It was insecurity, which I have to work on.”
Michael Ventrella Wins Season 9 of The Biggest Loser

Michael Ventrella just won the title of The Biggest Loser. He lost a total of 264 pounds and gained $250,000 in prize money. He plans to use the money to get out of debt - which he says is a stress that could affect his weight. He plans to continue eating healthy and working out daily and said he has not found it very difficult to maintain his healthy lifestyle back home. I guess we should be happy for him but I remember his douchbag move toward the middle of the season when he stacked the teams, making his team virtually all men and the other team all women - who had less weight to lose. This ensured he would not likely be eliminated, even if he lost the least amount of body fat.
