‘Twilight’ star and ‘American Idol’ finalist engaged.

‘Twilight’ star Nikki Reed and ‘American Idol’ contestant, Paul McDonald are reportedly engaged after just a few months of dating.

McDonald made it to the Top 8 on ‘Idol’ before being voted off by America. Reed was not shy about sharing her feelings about the love of her life. She told sources, “He’s the one”, as she showed off her ring finger.

A source close to the couple has confirmed the news.

Bryce Dallas Howard is expecting her second child.

Bryce Dallas Howard and her husband Seth Gabel are expecting their second child together. Their first child, Theo, was born in 2007, after the couple had been married for a year. The ‘Twilight’ star’s father is legendary director, Ron Howard.

In 2010, Howard took to Twitter and told Gwyneth Paltrow on her blog that she was suffering from postpartum depression. She wrote, “Before Theo was born, I had been in good humor about my 80-pound weight gain, but I was now mortified by it. I felt I was failing at breast feeding. My house was a mess, I believed I was a terrible dog owner. I was certain I was an awful actress.”

“Do I wish I had never endured postpartum depression? Absolutely,” she wrote. “I … feel deep gratitude for those who stood by me, for the lesson that we must never be afraid to ask for help.” She had a lot of support from her dad, husband, friends as well as professional counseling.

Paul McDonald of ‘American Idol’ is dating ‘Twilight’ star Nikki Reed.

After being voted off of ‘American Idol’, contestant Paul McDonald has confirmed that he is dating ‘Twilight’ star Nikki Reed. The couple is dating, but according to McDonald, the couple doesn’t “get to see each other too much because they are both working so hard.”

The 26 year old singer said, “Nikki’s supercool”. “She’s been real supportive of this whole thing. She’s actually pumped up now because she likes my original material way better than all the stuff I do on the show.”

Reportedly, McDonald says he and Reed hit it off immediately saying, “It was weird. I haven’t ever actually watched any of her movies. I don’t know too much of her career at all, but the person she is is super cool.”

“I told her I’m not watching any of [her movies] for a long time… She said, ‘I don’t want you watching’ and I was like ‘I don’t want to!’” he added.

Kristen Stewart attempts to explain her rash and sometimes temperamental behavior during interviews by saying that she really hasn’t changed much since kindergarten. The actress said, “I wore a T-shirt in kindergarten that said, ‘Kick butt first. Ask names later.’ ” She went on to say, “I’ve always been overly indignant in my reactions to not being able to be myself.” She apparently enjoys being uncomfortable and downright wacky during interviews as she recently said, “When I did the first Twilight movie, they were like, ‘Now you have to go and do media training,’ ” she says. “And I was like, ‘Screw you! Do you think you are going to wrap up all my little insecurities and throw them out the window? Do you think you are going to put soundbites in my mouth? Twilight: Breaking Dawn Release Date Announced

The final installment of the Twilight Series, “Breaking Dawn”, will be split into two movies. The first half of “Breaking Dawn” will be out on November 18, 2011 while the second half will be released almost a year later on November 16, 2012. “Dreamgirls” director, Bill Condon, is set to direct both movies. What will we all do for the next year?

Robert Pattinson and Dracula - Related?

Ancestry.com recently discovered that Twilight Hottie, Robert Pattinson, is actually related to the Transylvanian leader, Vlad the Impaler - real name: Vlad III Dracula, the person widely credited as the inspiration for the main character in Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.” The relationship connects through the British Royal Family. Pattisnon is a distant cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry; Vlad the Impaler was a distant uncle to the Princes.

Ancestry.com genealogist, Anastasia Tyler said, “Tracing Pattinson’s family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the Twilight Saga. Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson’s life — making his story just as supernatural as the one he’s playing on screen.”

Even more incredible is that Twilight author, Stephanie Meyer, is also connected to the prince’s lineage and (therefore) Vlad the Impaler.

Twilight Mania is Once Again Upon Us

Twilight fans are gearing up for the third installment of the series, Eclipse, which premieres June 30th. A sort of “tent city” has erected outside the Nokia Theatre in LA. There will be 9,000 wristbands handed out to fans who must abide by the list of camping rules set up by Nokia officials who also say that the wristbands must be worn until the premiere is over.
