Mariah Carey is Expecting Twins

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are in fact expecting twins. Cannon told the radio show that the first people they told were President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, which was after a performance by Carey: “She shared with the President and the First Lady that we are having twins. I haven’t even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission.”

Celine Dion Originally Expected Triples, Lost One of the Babies

Celine Dion and husband, Rene, recently welcomed fraternal twins into their homes. While the two recently released the names of the twins - Nelson and Eddy - they also announced that Dion was originally pregnant with triplets. Dion said in a video clip, “He chose to let go to give space to his brothers to grow.”

Celine Dion Admitted to Hospital

Celine Dion has checked into the hospital as a “precaution,” one month prior to the anticipated due date of her twin boys. The statement released to the public says, “She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting. ” It goes on to say, “This is done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth.” Her representative went further, saying, Her doctors want Dion to remain in the hospital at least until the first week of November, when she would be 37 weeks along in her pregnancy.”

Celine Dion and husband, Rene Angelil, are expecting twin boys this November. She went through six rounds of in-vitro fertilization treatments and was finally successful. She made the following announcement on her website, “Celine first announced the upcoming new additions to the Angelil-Dion family back in May, and now she just revealed that she is expecting twin boys.”

Melissa Ethridge’s Ex Has Filed for Full Custody of the Twins

People magazine has reported that Tammy Lynn Michaels, Melissa Etheridge’s ex, filed for full legal and physical custody of their 3-year old twins. She is also requesting spousal support. Ethridge is asking for joint custody and no spousal support. Michaels’ and Ethridge registered as domestic partners in 2005, prior to Michaels giving birth to their twins in 2006.

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is very upset by the trouble the media is going to to get information about the surrogate mother who is carrying her twin girls with husband Matthew Broderick.

“(It’s) an extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy,” Parker shared with Access Hollywood. “The most unsavoury things have been done. She’s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she’s had threats against her and true harassment… She’s had friends threatened and family threatened and she’s had family of friends threatened.”

Parker also feels badly that she can’t be nearer to the surrogate to help deal with the paparazzi.

“It’s really incredibly upsetting to think of her so far away and me not being able to do something, beyond what I’m legally allowed to do,” she says. “She’s had a friend, who was thought to be her, chased down a highway… This friend is nine months pregnant.”

“It’s crossed lines… Pretty much all the lines have been crossed… There’s simply no excuse for doing this to somebody. It’s not acceptable.”

According to representatives for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, the couple expecting twin girls this summer via surrogate pregnancy! According to their publicists, the couple is “overjoyed”.

Parker and Broderick already have one son, James Wilke Broderick, who was born in 2002.
