Jaden Smith made it big with “Karate Kid” movies.

Jaden Smith, the only son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, made a whopping seven-figure income for two “Karate Kid” films.

The 12 year old’s contract for the films, which was signed in June 2009 when he was only 10, states that he was paid in two installments. He was paid $900,000 for the first and $100,000 for the second.

Sources say that Smith received a $2 million bonus after the film brought in over $150,000 dollars at the box office. This on top of perks and royalties, Smith will be making money off the show for several years.

Willow Smith to star in “Annie”

Willow Smith became a sensation, at the age of 9, with her song “Whip My Hair”. Now, Sony Pictures has confirmed that they are doing a remake of the file “Annie” and Willow will be the star. The president of Sony said, “The time is right to bring back “Annie” to the big screen. Of course, we’re true believers in Willow’s talent and believe she will be perfect in this role”. Of course she is very talented, just look at the gene pool; her dad Will Smith is a singer and actor and mom Jada Pinkett Smith is also a talented actress.

Will starred with Jaden in “The Pursuit Of Happyness,” and both members of the Smith family did a fantastic job. We will look forward to seeing what they have in store for us with “Annie”.

Will Smith’s 9 year old daughter, Willow, has just signed a record deal with Jay-Z’s company. Willow found a hit in her first single, “Whip My Hair” which is going viral on the internet. Jay-Z told Ryan Seacrest, “I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a 9-year-old and I was like, ‘man that record’s a smash.”
