Entertainment Weekly came up with 10 of the worst performances in American Idol’s seven season history and as a friendly reminder, keep the volume down a bit on your speakers or this might bring on some unnecessary head pain!

Remember Season Four’s Mikalah Gordon who bombed on a Taylor Dayne cover “Love Will Lead You Back?”

Or how about Season One’s “Little Contestant That Couldn’t” Nikki McKibbin singing “Always Something There to Remind Me.” What, remind me to wear earplugs?
