The power of Oprah
Mediamogul Oprah Winfrey is having a big fundraiser for Barack Obama scheduled for September 8th. For all the the guests who will be needing hotel accomodations, Oprah was wanting her guests to stay at San Ysidro Ranch. However, the ranch has already been booked because of a big wedding.
And what does Oprah do when she doesn’t get her way? Well she uses her people to call and harass the hell out of the soon to be couple until they finally cave and give up a few rooms. However, the couple may have spared a few rooms, they didn’t give up the amount that was needed to satisfy Oprah. Good for them.
You know, if Oprah really wanted those rooms bad enough, she could have used her money to buy off the couple. Give them a million dollars, I guarantee they’ll find another hotel for their guests.
