‘The Vampire Diaries’ co-stars go public with their relationship.

Co-stars from ‘The Vampire Diaries’, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have decided to go public with there relationship.

Sources say the couple has been dating for almost a year. The two were seen holding hands at the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night. During an interview on the red carpet Somerhalder, 32, was asked who he was most excited to see and his response was, “Nina Dobrev!”

When Dobrev, 22, was asked the same question, her answer was, “I’m excited to see Selena Gomez because she’s hosting and I’m really happy for her.”

The couple was also spotted holding hands at the Coachella Music Festival in April.
