Tina Fey: “Leaving The Planet” If Sarah Palin Becomes VP

Tina Fey may be able to play the part of Sarah Palin so well that it’s almost hard to tell the difference between the two but the funny lady thinks that the possibility of Palin becoming Vice President is no laughing matter.

Fey tells the October 20 issue of TV Guide:“If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years. And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.” Ouch!

Fey did add that she was enjoying her run as the VP candidate on Saturday Night Live and knows that the election can mean great material for the show.

“Election time is always good for ['SNL'], and this is a bonkers election,” Fey says.

“And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person. She’s very likable. She’s fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler] — that was super fun.”

I’d vote for Tina Fey any day over Sarah Palin. Maybe if Palin does make it into the Vice President role, Fey can just haul ass to Washington, confuse the crap out of secret service and get herself the spot of second in line.
