Tom Jones Insures His Chest Hair For $7 Million

Lloyd’s of London has insured many odd things belonging to celebrities over the years, including Jennifer Lopez’s derrière, the legs of Heidi Klum, and Keith Richards’ fingers, but this might be the strangest that I have ever read.

Tom Jones has had his chest hair insured for $7 million. Is the chest hair really the secret to his success? Apparently he thinks it plays a big part, since he took out such a huge policy. His management group denied the reports, but Lloyd’s confirmed that they issued the policy (apparently privacy isn’t a big concern of theirs?). Underwriter John Thomas was quoted as saying “Admittedly, this is one of the most obscure requests I’ve had — but I still came up with a wording that addressed the need.”

Could be a hoax, I don’t know, but pretty damn strange if true.
