UGK’s Pimp C Dead At The Age of 33
Chad “Pimp C” Butler was found dead on Tuesday in a Hollywood hotel room. He was only 33 years old.
People who don’t follow hip-hop closely probably would best know Pimp C for his cameo on Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin’”.
There were no signs of foul play or drugs in the hotel room, according to police spokesmen. It could potentially take some serious time before anyone knows why Pimp C died. Toxicology reports generally take six to eight weeks to complete, but if he died of something like heart failure it should be reported in the next few days.
Pimp C had just performed on Saturday with rapper Too $hort at the LA House of Blues. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
