Ukranians Love Jessica Simpson
Box Office Mojo is reporting that Jessica Simpson’s new movie Blonde Ambition is number one in Ukraine, grossing $253,008 for the weekend of Feb. 14-17.
You’ll recall that this is the movie that made $1,771 in its opening weekend, running in just eight theatres in Texas. Kind of have to wonder why it didn’t just go straight to video, but maybe the huge market in the former Soviet Union for blonde bimbo movies is the reason for the theatrical release.
I guess we can safely blame Ukraine if this keeps Jessica Simpson off of Skinemax for a couple of more years.
