United Airlines employee files charges on Jonathann Rhys Meyers.
United Airlines employee Kathryn Williams, is reportedly suing Jonathan Rhys Meyers for “assaulted, battered and verbally abused her after being barred from stepping on an early morning flight”.
Reportedly, the star was drunk off vodka in New York City’s JFK airport before the incident in May 2010. Williams claims Meyers behaved “outrageously and shockingly” which went beyond “reasonable bounds of decency”. According to sources, Williams is claiming to have “suffered permanent physical damage and severe emotional distress following the incident”.
Following the altercation, Meyers went into rehab and sources say, “just really wants to get better” and “this has been an ongoing battle for him.” Included in the complaint: Williams is now seekig more that $15,000 in damages from the 33 year old actor.
The complaint included:
“The defendant committed tortuous acts consisting of verbally and physically abusing plaintiff causing her to sustain physical injuries and severe emotional distress.”
“Meyers wilfully, maliciously, wantonly and without any just cause or provocation assaulted and battered plaintiff Kathryn Williams.”
The alleged assault left Williams unable to perform her job
Meyers is banned from United Airlines.
