Vick’s notes are auctioned off

September 4, 2007

Last week when Michael Vick gave a little speech apologizing for all his wrongdoings in regards to the dogfighting investigation, he left his little scribbled note card on the podium. After he was done apologizing for the millionth time, a rep for the Humane Society went up to the podium to get the microphone and saw his note card and snatched it up.

And now the Humane Society is auctioning off this note card in order to raise money for their foundation. If you actually look at it, it says nothing important except for that he needs to “apologize” and is “sorry”.

If you ask me, if someone is that stupid and needs to write down to “apologize” on a piece of paper because they can’t actually remember that, then their not really sorry.

I’ve made a haystack of dicky comments on this good blog, but here’s kudos.
Apologies only work if the offender does not repeat said offense.
I haven’t seen Karl Fucking Rove or Roberto Fucking Gonzales’ apology note.
Kudos to sincere apologies, AND their attempt.
